Hey Launch Team and people praying about it -
What a great Sunday! I had the privilege of preaching at BCC - it felt so
good to be back in "the pulpit" again - it's been a few months! We had a
small band of strong prayer warriors doing some serious warfare, and many of
the team were rallying around in those great new shirts - what an
encuragement - even others are wanting to buy them! People were very
responsive, positive and excited toward the message & the new church! As of
this morning, our names of Launch Team Members has grown to 37, and those
praying and considering involvement has grown to 22! And we had a number of
people say they were interested on Sunday and I'm meeting with a few more
people this week already who have been in contact with me via e-mail today!
God is faithful to complete the good work he has started in us!
Please look for your name(s) in these lists and help me out! If your name
has been included in or left out of a list that you want to be changed,
please update me and let me know. Also, this list may not include a spouse,
or older students like Mark Z and others who want to help in leadership to
make it happen...let me know any additions like those that I need to make to
the lists (with phone/email, etc). Also, if you know of others who are
considering being a part of the Launch Team who are not on my list of people
praying about it, please let me know, so I can be in contact with them and
praying for everybody! Also, please pray that God would lead you to people
who are feeling called to be a part of this new church. I would love to see
this church be at least 100-200 strong before we even begin, but to do that,
it will take each of us drawing two to four people.
I appreciate so much your commitment of prayers, time, energy & devotion to
this new church, your church, our church...Our Place!
